CEMA reports March booked orders down 9.5% compared to March 2015 orders

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its March 2016 booked orders decreased 9.5% when compared to March 2015 orders.

March 2016 booked orders when compared to February 2016 booked orders were down 14.1%. March booked orders were up 18.1% for bulk handling equipment and down 24.3% for unit handling equipment when compared to February.

CEMA’s March 2016 billed sales (shipments) increased by 1.6% when compared to March 2015 sales. March 2016 billed sales when compared to February 2016 billed sales were up 11.1%.
