Conveyor index up 14% from November 2010

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its November 2011 Booked Orders Index was 145. Index in November is down 90 points or 38% from October 2011’s Index of 235 (1990=100). The November 2011 Index represents an increase of 14% from the November 2010 Index of 127.
November Booked Orders Indexes were 296 for Bulk Handling Equipment and 91 for Unit Handling Equipment (1990=100).
The Twelve-Month Index for Booked Orders was 178 in November. Index in November represents an increase of 1% from October 2011’s Twelve-Month Index of 176.
The CEMA Billed Sales (shipments) Index was 170 in November. Index in November represents a decrease of 5% from October 2011’s Index of 179. The November 2011 Index represents an increase of 32% from the November 2010 Index of 129.
November Billed Sales Indexes were 288 for Bulk Handling Equipment and 143 for Unit Handling Equipment (1990=100).
The Twelve-Month Index for Billed Sales was 166 in November. Index in November represents an increase of 2% from October 2011’s Twelve-Month Index of 162.
