Hannibal Industries announces southern expansion

Responding to growing customer demand for its products and looking to leverage the anticipated expansion of the Panama Canal, Hannibal Industries (Booth 1563) announced its expansion into the south with a new Houston facility slated to open later this year. The largest U.S. manufacturer of steel pallet rack west of the Mississippi River, Hannibal Industries is expanding to offer additional value to existing customers and increase its business in the southern United States.

While the cost of shipping steel products is a hindrance to most steel fabricators, Hannibal is driving its steel pallet racking products closer to businesses in the southern United Staes and Houston’s port.

“We currently manufacture and ship more than 100,000 tons of steel products each year,” said Blanton Bartlett, president, “and moving forward we’re looking to significantly increase Hannibal’s business, create jobs and better serve our customers with our Houston expansion.”
