Jungheinrich guarantees 2-shift runtime on multiple AC models

Perry Ardito, general manager of the warehouse products group, and John Sneddon, director of sales, announced Jungheinrich’s (Booth S3603) new two-shift guarantee.

In a press conference on Tuesday, Perry Ardito, general manager of the warehouse products group, and John Sneddon, director of sales, announced Jungheinrich’s (Booth S3603) new two-shift guarantee.

“We guarantee that our vehicles will run for 16 hours on a single battery on a single charge, or we will provide our customer with a second battery, free,” Ardito said, noting that regenerative braking and lifting/lowering functions contribute to the extended run time.

The company’s confidence is bolstered by energy-efficient motors and computerized controllers that optimize each vehicle’s productivity and yield an exceptionally long run time, added Sneddon. “We encourage customers to take our seven-day demo challenge to see the vehicles in use in their own facilities,” he said.

The guarantee covers a range of mid- to high-level orderpickers, pantograph reach trucks, three-wheel electric counterbalanced and electric pneumatic tire forklifts.

Additionally, Ardito showcased the company’s new EKS 314 high-level orderpicker, the fourth of five new models planned for release in 2017.
