Modex 2012: Compact vertical sorter gains market traction

Nedpack (Booth 3820) is gaining market traction among integrator partners and customers in North America for its Prorunner Mk5 vertical sorter, according to Jerome De Haan, a sales manager with Nedpack.

Since entering the U.S. market about two years ago, Nedpack has established integrator relationships for the product with companies including Dematic, SSI Schaefer and TGW, said De Haan.

Users companies include Herbalife, Kraft, and Staples—where Prorunners typically are integrated with conveyor control systems and conveyors for efficient moves of units between levels.
“The advantage of this system is its extremely small footprint in combination with its capacity for moving goods,” says De Haan.
