In a press conference, Ergologistics (Booth 1829) showcased two models of its new Lift’n Buddy ergonomic lift assist device: the Full-Back and the Half-Back.
The battery-powered Full-Back suits nearly any portable lifting application. Able to lift 500-pound loads up to 37 inches, the Lift’n Buddy is designed to take the heavy out of heavy lifting, said company president Aaron Lamb.
The Half-Back, which is lighter and completely portable, can lift 250 pounds and is built for everyday use in warehouses, manufacturing facilities and route-based delivery systems.
Both models are remote-controlled, sport actuators designed to withstand harsh environments, and have the iconic feel of a traditional hand truck so end users can relate and easily adapt to their new buddies. “Our mission is to improve safety, help customers save money, and save a few backs in the process,” added Lamb.
