NA 2010: Modular conveyor

March 01, 2010 - MMH Editorial
NA 2010, slated for April 26-29, will showcase more than 500 exhibits and include a comprehensive educational conference. The event, held at the I-X Center in Cleveland, will offer an array of products to help improve productivity at your company.
Modular in architecture, function and components, the Rapistan modular conveyor system can be modified to adjust functionality to meet changing levels of demand without replacing entire sections. The system is based on a universal side channel foundation with interchangeable elements including straight sections, curves, inclines/declines, right angle transfers and steerable wheel diverters. Power options include motorized rollers, standard AC drives, or variable frequency drives. A segmented belt conveying surface with automatic tracking and self-tensioning optimizes carton control. Onboard mounted controls connect with CANbus for centralized adjustment conveyor speed, accumulation mode and sleep mode.
