At a press conference Wednesday, Schoeller Arca Systems (Booth 3908) told Modern that it is re-entering the bulk container market with two new lines of green, collapsible large container solutions: the ComboLife 315 NG and the Magnum Optimum.

With an average life expectancy of about 10 years, both product lines provide end users with the ergonomic, economical and environmental benefits.  “We’re all about green,” said Schoeller Arca Systems president Robert Engle.  “We search for opportunities to offer sustainable and reusable packaging that will directly replace containers that go into landfills or that are only partially recycled.”

The efficient ComboLife 315 NG is a bag-in-box system that is strong, safe and offers a 4-to-1 return ratio driven by a collapsed height of just 12.3 inches.

The Magnum Optimum is a modular container system that can be configured and reconfigured in many ways with multiple, RFID, labeling and tagging options to suit the end users needs.

Engle asked, “Why build one standard unit and force it one a user when you can offer a customized solution?”  Good question.  The answer is:  They don’t.

ProMat 2011 will be held March 21 - 24, 2011 at McCormick Place South in Chicago. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry.
