TMHE to acquire VNA forklift business from Dambach Lagersysteme

BT brand very narrow aisle (VNA) lift trucks to be manufactured in TMHE's factory in Sweden.

Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE), a leading material handling equipment supplier in Europe, and DAMBACH Lagersysteme GmbH & Co. KG (Dambach), a leading supplier of automatic storage and retrieval machines, have announced they have agreed on the sale of the DAMBACH Very Narrow Aisle forklifts (VNA) interest to TMHE.

DAMBACH has been a supplier of a number of VNA truck models to TMHE for more than 10 years. Under the new agreement, production of BT brand VNA trucks will be moved from Bischweier in Germany to the TMHE factory in Mjölby in Sweden.

“VNA trucks made by DAMBACH have been included in our product portfolio for many years. Dambach have now made the strategic decision to focus on their core stacker crane business and TMHE will integrate the Dambach range into the existing VNA range built in our factory in Mjölby. We are confident this process can be achieved in a seamless manner and will not affect our service to our customers,” says Hans Van Leeuwen TMHE EVP Marketing and Sales.
