Recent research from the Aberdeen Group shows that 53% of respondents use some form of commercial warehouse management software. However, despite having a platform from which to automate, one-half to one-third of those companies do not use their WMS beyond the most basic functionality of receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping. Many companies fail to gain the maximum use of their investment if they don’t deploy functions such as:

  • Labor Management
  • Task Management
  • Slotting Voice Directed Picking
  • Load building/cubing
  • Advanced pick methodologies
  • Advanced replenishment methodologies

The Aberdeen Group launched a new study to determine how Best-in-Class companies are successfully implementing the above capabilities and driving improvements to warehouse efficiency. This survey measures areas where companies have had success and project plans for the future. This “High Performance Strategies for Improving the Warehouse” webcast brought to you by Modern Materials Handling in cooperation with Aberdeen explores the results of this survey and how you can improve your warehouse functions.
