BlueBotics (Booth B2009), a ZAPI group company, is displaying a multi-brand fleet demo of vehicles, each of which is driven by its ANT navigation ecosystem.
The vehicles—ranging from a forked automatic guided vehicle (AGV) and an industrial cleaning robot, to three mini lite autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and an automated tow tractor with a cart—are running a small pallet-moving operation, completely controlled by only one ANT (Autonomous Navigation Technology) server software project.
While doing so, the ANT natural feature navigation’s highly accurate, repeatable and robust vehicle performance is being demonstrated. Since the navigation doesn’t require virtually any infrastructure changes, attendees are witnessing the ways it increases the speed of vehicles’ installation processes considerably.
“By showing our ANT server fleet management software in action, via a full, multi-brand fleet of different automated vehicles, attendees are visualizing the technology firsthand in ways they never did before,” said Nicola Tomatis, CEO of BlueBotics.
Able to connect the widest range of vehicle types and brands possible (in one fleet), attendees are can observe another aspect of the ANT navigation: its ability to interface with users’ existing ERP, MES and WMS software.
