Aside from announcing a major rebrand, particularly the changing of its name from CCS to Carter Intralogistics (Booth B8224), the company also exhibited its CarterFlex and CarterParcel products during a press conference on Monday.

A 24VDC MDR flex conveyor, CarterFlex can expand from 23 feet with a 1.5-inch roller center to 64 feet with a 5-inch roller center, enabling it to accommodate a majority of traditional package sizes as a result. Capable of stretching and bending according to users’ unique warehouse space requirements, the conveyor is particularly ideal for DCs, loading and unloading areas, and portable assembly lines.

CarterParcel, a belt-over slider bed AC conveyor, was also showcased at the press conference. Featuring components that are entirely modular, the robust conveyor has been developed to transport heavy loads over long distances—all on a single drive motor. Additionally, it can move products that are difficult to convey, including bags and blister packs.
“A lot has changed at Carter Intralogistics recently—from our new name, to the availability of new conveyors,” said Joel Thomas, sales director at Carter Intralogistics. “Modex is providing us an opportunity to share these changes with customers firsthand.”
