Demag demonstrates DCBS Electric Balancer and other light lifting capabilities

Demag Cranes and Components is demonstrating its new DCBS Electric Balancer, designed for handling products with speed and precision in assembly line and manufacturing processes.

“The DCBS has four operating modes to make load handling ergonomic, efficient and safe,” said Tom Chapman, business development manager for Demag. “It’s the only electric balancer that allows operators to switch from handling the load with the handle to two hands without pressing a button.”

Demag is also showcasing its Demag D-BP II Air Balancer, which is the optimum handling solution for handling fragile components, assembly operations and fast pick-and-place tasks. Also part of Demag’s load handling product line is its patented Freestanding Cantilever Workstation crane, an optimal solution to reduce clutter in the work area while allowing tow motors and other necessary machinery into the area without obstruction.
