GreyOrange, a global leader in automated robotic fulfillment and inventory optimization software, today announced the appointment of Suneel Krishnaswamy as Chief Product and Engineering Officer (CPEO). Krishnaswamy, a seasoned technology executive known for building and scaling world-class engineering teams, has joined GreyOrange to lead the company's technology solutions development and deployment strategy.

"Suneel’s more than 30 years of supply chain software and technology experience make him the right candidate to take GreyOrange’s overall automation solutions strategy to the next level as we continue preparing our customers today for the needs and challenges of tomorrow," said Akash Gupta, co-founder and CEO of GreyOrange. "His wealth of experience and proven track record of developing and managing successful products using the SaaS delivery model will be invaluable to our continued growth and success."

Before joining GreyOrange, Krishnaswamy served as SVP of Architecture and Innovation at Koerber Supply Chain. His experiences also include serving as the CTO at enVista and serving in leadership roles at companies including Kuebix, IBM, Sterling Commerce, Yantra Corporation and Infosys. Krishnaswamy’s notable track record includes creating industry-leading solutions in warehouse and transportation management, omnichannel commerce, procurement and B2B integration.

"I believe in GreyOrange’s mission of revolutionizing the supply chain industry through innovative and cutting-edge technology, so serving on the leadership team using my tech and management background to advance company priorities will be exciting," said Krishnaswamy. "Not only do I anticipate working with the talented team at GreyOrange to develop and deliver solutions that continue to exceed our customers' expectations and help grow their business, but I look forward to GreyOrange’s ability to continue serving as an industry leader and credible counsel."

Krishnaswamy will be an essential key to the executive leadership team, following Gupta’s latest transition into the CEO seat from his previous GreyOrange positions as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer, the company added. Working lockstep with the executive leadership team and new CEO, Krishnaswamy will support Gupta’s commitment to ensure continued innovation remains at the forefront for GreyOrange.
