Loftware enters global technology alliance with Toshiba

Agreement covers development, support, and approval of Toshiba drivers for Loftware NiceLabel labeling and print Solutions

Loftware, a global provider of enterprise labeling and artwork management solutions, today announced that it has entered into a global technology alliance with Toshiba to cover the development, support, and approval of Microsoft-certified Toshiba drivers for Loftware’s suite of NiceLabel labeling and print solutions. This will allow users of Loftware NiceLabel to print at optimal performance from any business application through Toshiba printers.

“We’re delighted to conclude the alliance agreement with Toshiba," said Paul Vogt, Loftware Vice President of Partner Strategies. “Users of Toshiba Tec printers can now control label printing centrally and standardize their processes and workflows, enabling them to meet customer and industry demands for new label formats, new technologies, and new standards for product track and trace.”

The collaboration with Toshiba will bring several important advantages for Toshiba Auto-ID Business Partners, Loftware noted. They will gain the ability to offer the benefits of Loftware’s NiceLabel cloud and on-premise labeling software to their customers, which will help to meet the more complex needs of major end users who require cloud-based labeling solutions. Additionally, Partners will have the opportunity to add new services to their range, such as remote print management, that will enhance performance when running Toshiba label printers. Finally, Toshiba, together with Loftware, will provide advanced software options to channel partners who are eager to develop their solution-selling capability.

“As part of our digital transformation initiative, the newly extended product line-up will help Toshiba Auto-ID Business Partners to meet the evolving labeling demands of their customers,” added Angel de Juan, Vice President of European Auto-ID Sales at Toshiba. “By partnering with Loftware, we’re able to offer our European customers holistic cloud-based labeling solutions that will help them provide a bigger offering to their customers, including additional services opportunities.”
