Every year, MHI and Deloitte take the pulse of the industry to learn what more than 1,000 supply chain and manufacturing leaders are doing to stay ahead of the pack, manage challenges and plan for the future.
With our industry a focus as organizations continue to deal with pandemic-driven disruption, this year’s report promises to be revealing and groundbreaking. “The global pandemic thrusted the material handling and supply chain logistics industry into the mainstream spotlight like never before,” said Greg Baer, director of sales for MHI.
The results of the MHI Industry Report will be released and discussed during a keynote panel today at 8:45 a.m. with MHI’s CEO John Paxton, Deloitte’s Thomas Boykin and myriad other industry thought leaders.
Carol Miller, MHI’s chief marketing officer, said this year’s report will cover robotics, automation and emerging supply chain technologies and the new growth in investments that “firms are making to relieve supply chain pressures caused by the pandemic and other disruptions.”
