As Chairman of MHI and on behalf of our officers and members, it is my privilege to welcome you to ProMatDX. Normally at this time, we would all be in Chicago for the ProMat exhibition. However, due to Covid that was not possible this year.

The ProMatDX conference will also feature four keynotes today, tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday that will explore many issues and trends impacting supply chains. Today at 11:00 a.m. CT MHI CEO John Paxton will introduce the winners of the 2021 MHI Innovation Awards for best new innovation, best IT innovation and best innovation of an existing product. During this keynote, you will learn about these innovative solutions and how they can power up your supply chain.

There is also an MHI Young Professionals Meet and Greet from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. CT. If you are a young professional in the industry, I strongly recommend you attend this event. Additionally, ProMatDX will feature a contest measuring engagement during the ProMatDX event. Daily winners will be rewarded with a $500 gift card as well as a $500 donation in their name to Feeding America. The daily winners will participate in a lucky draw for a $5,000 trip voucher and a $5,000 donation in their name to Feeding America. Throughout the ProMatDX event, a total of $7,500 will be donated to Feeding America on behalf of the contest winners. All registered and logged-in ProMat attendees will be eligible for the contest.
