Orion Packaging enhances its Flex CTS automatic stretch wrapping system

Orion Packaging (Booth B3421) has announced its latest enhancements to the next-generation Flex CTS automatic stretch wrapping system. Renowned for its twin side-by-side platforms (which are used for wrapping and pick up), the system is now using the most recent IntelleVue control package—complete with a seven-inch, high-definition color touchscreen HMI.

Due to the package’s bilingual interface, operators are able to acquire access to every machine function with just two clicks. Not to mention, the HMI can also store up to 10 wrap recipes. As a result, changeover can occur quickly and efficiently.

“Furthermore, the Flex CTS now offers a feature that automatically attaches the tail end of the stretch wrap to the load, resulting in a professional, hands-free finish to the automated wrapping process,” said Peter Vilardi, director of marketing, Orion Packaging.
