Reddwerks announces alliance with JDA Software

Companies to collaborate on a complementary, end-to-end platform to meet the demands of the modern distribution center.

Reddwerks Corporation, a leading provider of warehouse execution software, has announced an ongoing alliance with JDA Software, a leading provider of end-to-end, integrated retail and supply chain planning and execution solutions.

The alliance is intended to allow JDA and Reddwerks to offer a complementary, end-to-end order fulfillment platform capable of managing and executing the changing demands of the modern distribution center.

Many retailers and distributors struggle to meet the customer-driven demands marked by omni-channel and eCommerce. As these companies compete in terms of accuracy and speed, many are finding their distribution centers’ legacy systems simply lack the flexibility to perform at the level of speed and customization being promised to end customers. For most, this has led to heavy operating costs and lackluster customer satisfaction.

This alliance between JDA and Reddwerks will provide a comprehensive software platform capable of providing operational agility and distribution center-wide alignment of customer orders, inventory, warehouse labor and material handling equipment—enabling companies to meet their growing and varied volume demands and business goals in existing or in newer, more modern distribution centers.

“The opportunity to partner with Reddwerks is exciting and timely,” said Mark Morgan, senior vice president, North American sales at JDA. “As omni-channel demands increase for our manufacturing, distribution and retail customers, it is imperative for our customers to focus on the most profitable fulfillment model possible. Reddwerks solutions coupled with JDA Intelligent Fulfillment is a compelling offering in the market for those customers that are focused on highly efficient planning, execution and real-time analysis capabilities. The combined JDA and Reddwerks solution helps reduce labor costs, improves utilization and throughput, and serves as the foundation for highly optimized fulfillment operations.”

JDA and Reddwerks have already demonstrated results from their combined solution implemented at a major distributor, where they were able to increase labor productivity, equipment utilization and throughput by significant margins.

“Our joint customers’ recent success integrating JDA’s warehouse labor management system with our warehouse execution software proves there is tremendous value our combined platforms can deliver to the market,” said Alex Ramirez, president and CEO of Reddwerks. “Reddwerks’ focus and success in helping retailers and distributors fulfill the customer promise is perfectly aligned with JDA’s success in optimizing costs, increasing revenue and reducing time to value. We look forward to building our alliance and delivering unprecedented value to our customers.”
