At a Monday press conference, Trelleborg (Booth S4575) presented three materials handling tire solutions: the XP1000 tire, the PS1000 tire and the ProTEX compound.
Offering high traction, along with minimum vibration, as they transport materials around ports, shop floors and warehouses, the XP1000 tire has been developed for maximum intensity applications. The tire also provides high comfort and safety and a long lifespan.
The PS1000 tire features a new design, leading to high quality, uptime and performance, as well as enhanced safety, when compared to previously released models.
This rise in safety is particularly due to ProTEX, an electrically conductive, 100% non-marking compound featured in the XP1000 and PS1000 tires. Engineered for usage in materials handling applications, it can safely operate in potentially explosive environments, including those that consist of flammable dust, gas and vapor.
“We’re confident we can assist in choosing the proper tire for any customer-specific applications,” said Marc Margossian, North American business development director at Trelleborg Wheel Systems.
