Truckload: Hanging tough through the soft market

As contributing editor John Schulz reports in this month’s Quarterly Transportation Market Report (page 71S), it’s a “buyer’s market” in the truckload (TL) sector at the moment.

And while TL shippers have been benefiting from the temporary excess capacity and subsequent lower rates, that situation will almost certainly come to an end as we get closer to 2017.
