ALSCO and Coroplast join Reusable Packaging Association

The Reusable Packaging Association (RPA) is focused on promoting the expansion of reusables as the preferred packaging solution across supply chains in all industries.

Anwood Logistics Systems Company (ALSCO) and Coroplast recently joined the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA).

The Reusable Packaging Association is a collaborative effort between manufacturers, poolers, distributors, retailers and educators to promote the environmental, safety, and economic benefits of reusable packaging. The RPA serves as the collective voice of the industry and uses its knowledge of the members’ products and services to advance the adoption of reusable packaging and systems throughout the supply chain. The RPA is focused on promoting the expansion of reusables as the preferred packaging solution across supply chains in all industries.

ALSCO, based in China, is the association’s fourth international member. ALSCO is a leading packaging manufacturer and provider of solutions and logistics services in the Asia-Pacific region. The company has been providing quality products and returnable packaging solutions for the automotive, retail and transport industries worldwide since 1998. Its customers include General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Toyota, Volkswagen, Honda and Mazda.

Coroplast is a manufacturer of profile extruded polypropylene sheet and a leader in corrugated plastic. The company is targeting growth in the reusable packaging sector, and is joining the RPA to support this effort.

“We welcome Anwood Logistics Systems and Coroplast as our newest RPA member companies,” said Jerry Welcome, the president of RPA. “Our growing membership clearly demonstrates the increasing demand for reusable packaging solutions. And our increasing international membership is a positive sign that the US economy is improving and becoming more attractive to international companies. I believe more companies will become actively involved in the RPA as supply chains increase in international scope, and companies seek resources and expertise to improve their ability to sell their products and services in the US and all over the world.”

Current international members of the RPA include Bruel International in Denmark; IPL Products Ltd in Quebec, Canada; and ORYX in Australia.
