Cronin’s appointment dovetails with Intelligrated’s ongoing commitment to provide sophisticated solutions for its customers.

Intelligrated, a leading North American-owned automated material handling solutions provider, announces the appointment of Greg Cronin as executive vice president. Cronin’s appointment dovetails with Intelligrated’s ongoing commitment to provide sophisticated solutions for its customers.

Cronin’s initial focus will be to leverage Intelligrated’s software capabilities and to assist in the ongoing development of the company’s software strategy. He will also take an active role in sales and marketing activities for Intelligrated’s software portfolio. Intelligrated’s proprietary software solutions support a variety of computerized material handling functions, including warehouse control systems, advanced order fulfillment software and machine controls to improve equipment utilization. These solutions are designed to increase system efficiency and productivity, reduce operational costs and provide flexibility to respond to a customer’s dynamic business challenges.

“With his extensive experience in warehouse management systems and logistics software sales, marketing and business development, Greg is the ideal person to oversee Intelligrated’s software strategy,” said Chris Cole, CEO, Intelligrated. “Under Greg’s leadership, Intelligrated will further enhance our ability to deliver the best-in-breed software solutions for our clients.”

Prior to joining Intelligrated, Cronin held executive roles in several of the industry’s most respected companies, including Red Prairie, Manhattan Associates and Seegrid Corporation. Most recently, he served as the vice chairman and executive vice president for Quiet Logistics Inc., where he was responsible for sales, marketing, strategy and business development for the third-party logistics company. Cronin holds a degree in Business Administration from Manhattan College.
