Autoquip receives new MHEDA award

Award recognizes excellence in community outreach and advocacy of the industry, its distributors and continuing education.

The Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) has awarded Autoquip with its new Most Valuable Supplier Award for 2016.

The newly created MVS Award is granted by MHEDA to recognize companies that have demonstrated a commitment to their dealer networks, their employees and their communities.

To qualify for the award, Autoquip was required to provide evidence of its commitment to excellence in the following areas:

● Industry advocacy
● Distributor advocacy
● Business networking
● Continuing education
● Business best practices

“Autoquip really appreciates the recognition this award provides,” said Louis Coleman, director of sales and marketing. “We know the strength of our business and the gains we have enjoyed over the past few years are a large part because of the strength of our dealer base. To be recognized by MHEDA validates our business model and our hard work.”

“MHEDA members represent the best of our industry: companies that take the initiative and make the investments to be not just good, but great at what they do,” said 2015 MHEDA president Mark Milovich of Lift Atlanta, Inc. “Recognition as a MHEDA MVP further demonstrates the member’s desire to shine above the brightest stars in all areas of running their business - both internally and externally.”
