Barcoding, Inc., a leader in supply chain efficiency, accuracy, and connectivity, has launched a dedicated practice for the identification, formulation, and management of perfect order fulfillment processes.
Led by experts who take a holistic approach with methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and Kaizen, Supply Chain Architecture by Barcoding uses proven strategies to identify and then eliminate waste in the supply chain in order to increase revenue and decrease operational costs.
The practice follows a systematic approach, typically starting with a complete operational assessment of the client’s current supply chain processes to determine potential improvement opportunities. It can begin with a “deep dive” and review of a specific area, including facility layout, performance tracking, management skills and technology effectiveness. From there, a roadmap is created to detail the recommended execution strategy, guide the client towards the appropriate solution or blend of solutions, and to position itself for long-term success.
“When it comes to issues within the supply chain, most organizations are reactive, rather than proactive,” said Chase Sowden, supply chain architect, Barcoding, Inc. “But, to remain competitive, companies must constantly ask themselves, ‘How well are we really doing?’ Supply Chain Architecture by Barcoding is designed to help answer this question– we are enabling clients to drive continuous improvement by providing them with a holistic view of their supply chains and identifying ways to make people, processes, and technology more efficient, accurate, and connected.”
A PMP-certified, Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Agile Scrum Master with more than 20 years of industry experience, Sowden leads the Supply Chain Architecture by Barcoding division. Sowden’s expertise spans almost every vertical industry, as he has performed hundreds of operational assessments to help companies drive performance improvements.
Shane Snyder, president, Barcoding, Inc., said, “While Barcoding has long offered end-to-end supply chain solutions, launching our own Supply Chain Architecture division allows us to take our offerings to an even higher level. We are able to look at the ‘big picture’ to help clients improve their entire process, beyond just a specific task or function within their supply chains.”
