Kärcher North America (Booth 4576) has a new line-up of emissions-free, ride-on floor sweepers on display. The KM 105/110 R Bp, KM 130/300 R Bp and KM 150/500 R Bp are engineered to clean floors in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants and DCs.
Features include hydraulic forward drive for improved maneuverability, such as turning 360 degrees in hallways; one-pass cleaning with a crescent-shaped side brush that engages automatically when turning corners; and a filter cleaning process that blows air through the filter to remove contaminants.
“We’re excited to introduce this new line,” said Steve Bowie, EVP of sales, who noted that purchase commitments for the KM 105/110 had already been taken at the show. “The KM 105/110 sweeper features the Kärcher Intelligent Key (KIK) operator system that allows facility managers to choose from a pre-set, selectable range of functions for different cleaning needs.”
Bowie also noted that the unit’s display panel shows operating hours worked, upcoming maintenance intervals and roller brush wear. The sweeper’s roller brush is positioned directly on the rear axle, ensuring constant ground contact even when operating on inclines or uneven surfaces.
