CEMA reports January 2020 orders down 6.54% compared to January 2019

January 2020 shipments decreased by 14% when compared to January 2019 billed sales.


The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its January 2020 booked orders decreased 6.54% when compared to January 2019 booked orders.

January 2020 booked orders when compared to December 2019 booked orders decreased 70.8%. January 2020 booked orders increased 24.35% for bulk handling equipment and decreased 80.35% for unit handling equipment when compared to December 2019 booked orders.

CEMA’s January 2020 billed sales (shipments) decreased by 13.99% when compared to January 2019 billed sales. January 2020 billed sales when compared to December 2019 billed sales decreased 25.45%.

January 2020 billed sales decreased 7.4% for Bulk Handling Equipment and decreased 31.63% for unit handling equipment when compared to December 2019 billed sales.
