CEVA Logistics, a global supply chain management company, has announced the launch of its new global MATRIX WMS (Warehouse Management System) which will be the standard service offering for its customers looking for WMS support in warehouses and distribution centers.

Utilizing RedPrairie’s WMS application, the new MATRIX WMS offering, which is part of its suite of IT solutions, will become CEVA’s global offering, providing a standard system landscape and one common infrastructure for customers, while allowing for local flexibility as demanded.  The solution will enable CEVA to monitor the flow of goods, provide transport optimization, warehouse management and stock control for customers.  This common framework will also allow other applications within the MATRIX suite to be integrated to provide an enhanced service and efficiencies of cost and scale for customers.

“With our ongoing focus on providing global, end-to-end and uniform services for our customers, we are thrilled to be launching MATRIX WMS with the support of RedPrairie,” said Peter Dew, CEVA CIO.  “The new platform will provide us with greater flexibility and data delivery by using a global infrastructure with stronger round the clock support, availability and management which meets the growing needs of our key global and regional customers, who require full visibility and stability as a necessity in running lengthening supply chains.”

“We are proud that CEVA has asked RedPrairie to provide its global standard warehouse management system,” said RedPrairie CEO Mike Mayoras. “This is the result of a longstanding relationship with CEVA that has enables them to serve efficiently many customers across all types of industry.”
