Conveyco (Booth B4219) is launching a new line of frozen, chilled and ambient autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that can move seamlessly between different environmentally controlled zones.

Unlike other AMRs that are restrained to one zone to protect their sensors, batteries and system longevity, the new line is designed to function in all environmental zones, saving organizations labor, forklifts and floor space.

“This is huge for cold chain operations looking to improve their performance levels,” said Ed Romaine, vice president of marketing and business development at Conveyco. “Previously, AMRs could only work in dedicated zones, which translated into greater costs and far less efficiencies.”

This technology can operate in frozen environments as low as -13°F and in ambient temperatures up to 104°F, while carrying loads up to 2,645 pounds. Each AMR has up to eight hours of battery life between opportunity charging, allowing them to operate as needed in active warehouses. Additionally, the robotic solutions can move in and out of varying temperatures without condensation build up.

The All-Temperature AMRs are ideal for storage and retrieval, replenishment, order picking, transportation, workstation deliveries and returns handling. The Conveyco AMRs integrate seamlessly with existing software systems to provide real-time levels of visibility, optimum performance and easy management.
