Conveyor Index up 34% from the December 2010

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its December 2011 Booked Orders Index was 213. Index in December is up 64 points or 43% from November 2011’s Index of 149 (1990=100). The December 2011 Index represents an increase of 34% from the December 2010 Index of 159.


The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its December 2011 Booked Orders Index was 213. Index in December is up 64 points or 43% from November 2011’s Index of 149 (1990=100). The December 2011 Index represents an increase of 34% from the December 2010 Index of 159.

December Booked Orders Indexes were 337 for Bulk Handling Equipment* and 172 for Unit Handling Equipment*(1990=100).

The Twelve-Month Index for Booked Orders was 183 in December. Index in December represents an increase of 3% from November 2011’s Twelve-Month Index of 178.

The CEMA Billed Sales (shipments) Index was 184 in December. Index in December represents an increase of 7% from November 2011’s Index of 172. The December 2011 Index represents an increase of 34% from the December 2010 Index of 137.

December Billed Sales Indexes were 340 for Bulk Handling Equipment* and 144 for Unit Handling Equipment*(1990=100).

The Twelve-Month Index for Billed Sales was 170 in December. Index in December represents an increase of 2% from November 2011’s Twelve-Month Index of 166.
