Daifuku America to host grand opening of remodeled Ohio office

Building updates include 8,000 square feet of new space and 59 additional employees.

Daifuku America Corporation, a subsidiary of Daifuku Webb Holding Company and a leader in material handling solutions, will host its grand opening on September 22 at 11:00 a.m.

The event will showcase 8,000 square feet of new office space and a complete remodel of its existing building in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

Mayor Michael B. Coleman from Columbus will speak at the event, as well as Daifuku president and CEO Masaki Hojo, Daifuku Webb Holding Company chairman, president and CEO Brian Stewart and Daifuku America Corporation president Aki Nishimura.

The additional floor space incorporates a modern open floor plan that features two entrances, one for customers and vendors and the other for employees. In addition to the building expansion, Daifuku has added 59 people to its staff and is expected to fill more than 25 additional positions in the upcoming year.

“The expansion of our building and staff is very exciting as it is a sign of continued growth and prosperity here at Daifuku America,” Nishimura said. “We are also appreciative of all the support we have received from the city of Reynoldsburg and are honored that Mayor Coleman will celebrate this important day with us.”
