InfinityQS pledges $2 million to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

New commitment to help find cures for pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

InfinityQS International, a global leader in real-time quality and manufacturing intelligence, has pledged to donate $2 million to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital over the next 10 years.

Leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases, St. Jude has named the Large Auditorium Gathering Space in the Marlo Thomas Center for Global Education and Collaboration in honor of InfinityQS to commemorate the company’s support.

“St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is so grateful for the generosity and dedication of InfinityQS in supporting our lifesaving mission,” said Richard Shadyac, Jr., president and CEO of ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “Their continued support of the kids of St. Jude and their new commitment in our Marlo Thomas Center for Global Education and Collaboration will help us make a difference for children fighting cancer around the world.”

In 2013, InfinityQS received the Cardinal Stritch Donor of the Year Award, which recognizes a donor whose commitment reflects the vision and leadership of St. Jude founder Danny Thomas’ spiritual mentor, Samuel Cardinal Stritch, the Catholic archbishop of Chicago. More recently, InfinityQS’ $1-million donation was commemorated with the naming of the international virology lab of Richard J. Webby, Ph.D. Webby is a member of the St. Jude Department of Infectious Diseases and director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Center for Studies on the Ecology of Influenza in Animals and Birds. InfinityQS has also sponsored and participated as St. Jude Heroes in three of the hospital’s annual St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend fundraisers.

Michael Lyle, president and CEO, InfinityQS, said, “I am excited to announce InfinityQS’ ongoing commitment to St. Jude. With our continued growth as an organization, it is our utmost priority to maintain a high level of integrity in our approach to both business and social responsibilities. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s work greatly impacts the lives of those affected by pediatric cancer and other deadly diseases, and we are honored to play a role in their continued success.”

St. Jude is able to make tremendous strides in discovering new cures for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases through the charitable donations from companies like InfinityQS. Because of contributor funding, patient families never receive a bill from the hospital for treatment, travel, housing or food, and St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most – saving children’s lives, regardless of their financial situation.
