Interroll Group AG appoints new head of communications and investor relations

Experienced in technical and management experience in corporate communications, Erwin Teichmann to expand international communications.

Interroll Group has created a new global head of communications and investor relations position, which has been assumed by Erwin Teichmann beginning February 1, 2016.

The company aims to further expand its worldwide external and internal communications and link them more closely. Teichmann’s tasks will include external media and public relations, internal communications, investor relations and continued development of online and social media communications.

Teichmann is a 51-year old German citizen who spent three years as the owner of etcom communications consultancy in Weinheim (Germany) before joining Interroll AG. He has many years of technical and management experience in corporate communications for international technology companies, such as THALES, ABB and the former VAW aluminium.

“I consider the task of supporting an ambitious, internationally oriented company such as Interroll AG in further developing its communication with all stakeholders, strengthening its reputation throughout the world and growing profitably and sustainably in a dynamic market an interesting challenge,” said Teichmann, who will be based in company headquarters in Sant’ Antonino in Ticino, Switzerland.

In this role the new head of communications reports to Jens Karolyi, member of corporate group management and responsible for marketing and corporate culture, as well as to Paul Zumbuehl, chairperson of the board of directors of the international Interroll Group. Teichmann succeeds Petra Mueller, who left the company last year.
