Mark your calendar for ProMat 2017

Building on the energy and interest clearly on display during the past three days at Modex, MHI announced that ProMat 2017 will have exhibits spread across both the South and North Hall of Chicago’s McCormick Place to accommodate a continued uptick in demand for exhibit space.

With a record 279,000 net square feet of exhibits reserved by more than 460 companies back in December 2015, show sponsor MHI anticipates a total of 850 exhibits in the 350,000-square-foot space spread across both halls.

“Mirroring what we’ve seen at Modex—where a record amount of exhibit space was claimed here at The Georgia World Congress Center’s Hall B—the enthusiasm and unprecedented amount of space reserved for ProMat 2017 is a clear indicator that our members have a positive economic outlook for 2016 and beyond,” said George Prest, CEO of MHI. “This bodes very well for both ProMat 2017 and our industry as a whole.”

ProMat will be held April 3-6, 2017, and will feature solutions ranging from traditional, manual equipment to computerized, automated systems and information technologies.

To make it easier for attendees to find the solutions they need, the ProMat show floor will debut two new solution centers focused on autonomous vehicles and sustainability solutions, in addition to the current categories of manufacturing and assembly, fulfillment and delivery, and information technology (IT).

Modex 2016 is scheduled to be held April 4-7, 2016 in Atlanta’s Georgia World Conference Center. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete Modex coverage.
