Power Sources Unlimited announced that it has received the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Quality Management System.

Power Sources Unlimited announced that it has received the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Quality Management System.

SO9001:2008 certification is an internationally recognized approach to the implementation of a Quality Management System. Obtaining certification requires an independent third party assessment and on-going audits ensure continued compliance to the stringent requirements. Power Sources Unlimited is an authorized distributor of AC/DC Power Supplies and DC/DC Converters from the world’s leading manufacturers.

The ISO standards are published by the International Organization for Standardization and are available through national standards bodies. To achieve certification, PSUI passed an assessment conducted by ISOQAR an ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) certified Auditor.

Upon receiving ISO Certification, Ray Newby Founder, President and CEO, noted, “Achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification is recognition that for PSUI quality has been a way of life from the beginning. Our quality management system is dedicated to continuous improvement, our processes are well documented and controlled, changes are made in a considered way and we listen systematically to our customer”.
