Remcon Plastics, Inc. is the newest company to join the Reusable Packaging Association and exhibit at its Reusable Packaging Pavilion at the upcoming PACK EXPO show.

“Our interest in the RPA is two-fold,” said Brian P. Martin, Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Remcon. “First and foremost, we feel as a corporation that we have a responsibility to the community within which we live and work. Our products are totally recyclable and, in a sense, safer for the environment around us, our employees and their families and the customers we serve. Second, we are interested in building long-term relationships with companies that have the same interest in preserving our environment and utilizing exciting and cost-effective solutions to make good immediate and long term business decisions. We think that the RPA will be strategically advantageous for Remcon Plastics and our business community.”

“We are pleased that the RPA continues to attract a wide variety of companies that manufacture reusable containers,” said Jerry Welcome, President of the RPA. “I believe it represents an acknowledgment that the RPA represents the ever expanding and growing reusable packaging segment of the packaging industry. We welcome Remcon Plastics’ involvement in the industry and their addition to our very strong representation of the reusable industry at PACK EXPO this October.”

Remcon Plastics is a premier supplier of reusable containers to a variety of industries. Its combo bins and hoppers are used in various aspects of food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and other industries. Its polyethylene combo bins, tablet hoppers, ingredients drums, trays and totes are all made from 100% virgin PET and are also 100% recyclable. Its products reduce the carbon footprint of any business that chooses to utilize its solutions by limiting or eliminating the consumption of paper and fibrous products.

The Reusable Packaging Association is a collaborative effort between manufacturers, poolers, distributors, retailers and educators to promote the environmental, safety, and economic benefits of reusable packaging.
