Toyota Material handling receives Supplier of the Year award from United Rentals

Award recognizes best practices for sales, technical support, corrective action, responsiveness, product quality and system integration at the branch level.

Toyota Material Handling, a leading brand of material handling equipment, was named Supplier of the Year for 2015 by United Rentals, the largest equipment company in the world.

The award was announced and presented at the opening event at United Rentals’ annual convention held last month in Indianapolis. Each year, United Rentals recognizes manufacturers that deliver exemplary quality, service, and value. The award is given based on a supplier scorecard using input from all United Rentals’ branches. Criteria for the award is based on best practices for sales and technical support; corrective action, responsiveness and implementation; best product quality and delivery; and best system integration at the branch level.

“Our entire company works hard to improve our products and services, help our customers be more productive and efficient, and provide a great customer experience,” said TMHU president Jeff Rufener. “It’s an honor to be recognized by United Rentals for our business performance, products and support.”

“We are pleased to award Toyota Material Handling with our 2015 Supplier of the Year award,” said United Rentals’ director, equipment sourcing T.J. Mahoney. “Toyota was honored in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality and value, as well as their commitment to continuous improvement. Congratulations on your achievement and we look forward to our continued partnership for years to come.”
