The Ergonomic Assist Systems and Equipment Council (EASE) of Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) announces a workshop in conjunction with National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) called “Engineered Solutions for Manual Handling Jobs” on February 8-9, 2012 and co-located with MODEX 2012 in Atlanta, GA. The workshop will focus on developing engineering solutions for manual materials handling (MMH) jobs in retail, wholesale, and warehousing (RWW) industries.

* Industry/safety/loss prevention representatives from the RWW industries who believe there ought to be a better way of moving materials and containers in their businesses.
* Manufacturers/vendors of MMH equipment who desire to partner with one or more RWW industries to explore/ develop the next generation of MMH equipment.
