Wildeck demonstrates hydraulic material lift

The new V-Lift is an economical, single-cylinder, hydraulically operated, cantilever lift that is ideal for lean manufacturing operations and green facilities where efficiency, simplicity, and productivity are primary concerns.

Wildeck unveiled an array of products and custom design capabilities in Booth 1547 at ProMat 2011.

One of the featured new products was Wildeck’s new V-Lift VRC material lift (vertical reciprocating conveyor). The new V-Lift is an economical, single-cylinder, hydraulically operated, cantilever lift that is ideal for ‘lean’ manufacturing operations and green facilities where efficiency, simplicity, and productivity are primary concerns. Wildeck’s “V” reportedly stands for Value, Versatility, and Vigorous construction and can be installed either in a shaftway, or free-standing with optional structural framing.

“The V-Lift is an ideal solution for ‘green’ building designs and crowded manufacturing facilities undergoing transformation towards ‘lean’ operations,” said Hue Schlegel, director of marketing. “The requirement today is to get more out of the space you have and become more efficient at handling finished goods on their way to the consumer.”

The VRC is designed to meet ANSI/ASME B20.1 Safety Standard for Conveyors. It incorporates industry-leading technology and attractive features such as guide columns constructed of 6-inch wide-flange structural steel, and a state-of-the art hydraulic ram with large 2-1/2 inch diameter dual pistons that deliver a smoother, more positive lifting motion than competitive designs.

ProMat 2011 will be held March 21 - 24, 2011 at McCormick Place South in Chicago. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry.
