Jtec Industries reveals new electric lift mother cart

Jtec Industries (Booth 4985) is showcasing its latest addition to the company’s CarryMore tugger cart system: an electric lift mother cart.

Designed to lift CarryMore daughter carts—that weigh upward of 2,500 pounds—off of facilities’ floors, the electric lift mother cart enhances load transportation from one point in a facility to another. Operators only need to push a daughter cart into the mother cart’s frame. From there, the mother cart is automatically locked firmly into position, as a kick switch is activated to lift the daughter cart off of the ground.

“Like other CarryMore designs, when the daughter cart is ready to be released back off of the mother cart, operators simply depress a foot pedal,” said Jon Peterson, CEO, Jtec Industries. “Jtec’s gravity release feature enables it to slowly roll off towards the operator—without requiring any ergonomic pull.”
