To ensure nonconforming product does not leave its factory, the company employs extensive quality assurance measures throughout its manufacturing process. Although its legacy palletizing system met all requirements for throughput, reliability and safety, all 36 packaging lines fed the same two palletizers, which made tracing defective product back to the packaging line of origin a long, arduous process.
