Building on the energy and interest clearly on display during the past three days at Modex, MHI announced that ProMat 2017 will have exhibits spread across both the South and North Hall of Chicago’s McCormick Place to accommodate a continued uptick in demand for exhibit space.

Today marks the conclusion of Modex 2016, four days of comprehensive problem solving and networking to provide solutions to the complex manufacturing and supply chain challenges faced by industry today.

Wednesday’s keynote panel discussed significant industry trends from the new MHI 2016 Annual Industry Report, including hiring/retaining skilled workers; customer demand for faster response times, and customer demand for lower delivered costs.

As part of the survey conducted by Modex sponsor MHI and Deloitte—shared in this morning’s keynote presentation of their annual industry report, “Accelerating Change: How Innovation is Driving Digital, ‘Always-On’ Supply Chains”—the nearly 900 participants were asked about anticipated tactical investments.
