At a Monday press conference, Harel Boren, CEO and co-founder of Inspekto (Booth 4080), discussed the impact of Autonomous Machine Vision (AMV), a new category of machine vision for quality assurance (QA).
In particular, he focused on the Inspekto S70, the world’s first AMV system, which is self-adjusting, self-learning, self-setting and stand alone. Integration-free, the visual quality inspection system is powered by Inspekto’s patented Plug & Inspect technology.
As a result, personnel can install it on active manufacturing lines in roughly 30 to 45 minutes—without having to hire any external systems integrators for assistance. And, due to its artificial intelligence engines, the Inspekto 70 can adjust to its own lighting settings and inspect a variety of products from one location.
“By allowing for quick and cost-effective quality inspection at every step, AMV will revolutionize the supply chain,” Boren said.
Modex 2020 is scheduled to be held March 9-12 at Georgia’s World Congress Center in Atlanta. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the materials handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete coverage of the show.
