Advance Lifts celebrates 40th anniversary

Over 40 years, it has expanded into five major product groups with more than 1,500 standard products.


Founded in 1974 with the purpose of designing and manufacturing the world’s finest loading dock scissors lifts, Advance Lifts is now celebrating 40 years in the materials handling business. Over 40 years, it has expanded into five major product groups with more than 1,500 standard products. The major groups are Dock Lifts with the widest selection of models in the industry, Production Tools that include scissors lifts, turntables, tilters and dumpers, Work Access Platform Lifts with limitless custom design capabilities, Mezzanine Lifts with rider capabilities or automated systems, and Packaging with a variety of stretch wrap equipment.

Their 120,000-square-foot facility in St. Charles, Illinois, houses state of the art equipment and a group of engineers and production personnel.

The company has grown to include an in house UL listed panel shop and it is ISO 9001 certified.
