Beacon® Hydraulic Dock Levelers Provides Safe Loading

Increase Loading Dock Performance with a six movement leveler.


This unique electric hydraulic loading SF and SS Series - 6 Movement Dock Leveler is unmatched in the loading dock leveler industry. The six movement design includes up and down for deck movement, in and out slide deck/ lip movement, left and right positioning for entire dock leveler movement. The SF series is engineered with a finger deck and fixed lip longitudinal design. The fingers have the unique ability to provide greater deck twist than any solid deck on the market for uneven truck beds.

The SS Series is engineered with a sliding sold deck and fixed lip design. The continuous slide deck surface on both units makes the unit inherently safer than a hinged lip leveler.

Capacities are available in 20,000 or 30,000 lbs dynamic load. Deck widths are available in 6’ or 6’-6” or 7’ wide. Dock Leveler height is 32”. Dock leveler lengths are available ranging from 8’, 10’ and 12’. This six movement leveler includes a 20” continuous slide deck with fixed lip and full-range, full stripped toe guards.

Proven SS and SF Series performance since the 1950s, rugged in design, outperforming all other dock levelers for diversity movement.

The ramp shall be fully packaged, completely assembled unit with all components and load bearing structural members within its own frame, requiring only anchoring in position and electrical connections.

The ramp shall be provided with electrical pushbutton control for the six (6) movements:
1- UP;    2-DOWN;    3-FORWARD,    4-REVERSE;    5-LEFT;    6-RIGHT

The Lip is designed with 55,000 yield strength. Dock Leveler equipped with hydraulic velocity fuse and cross traffic maintenance safety support legs. Unit shall be complete self-contained 3 Ph, 2.5 GPM electric hydraulic power unit. Horizontal side movement and slide deck hydraulic cylinders shall be double acting and deck vertical cylinders to be single acting.
