Bridging the Data Gap Between Sourcing and Logistics

This Making the Case report, examines the age-old gap that exists between sourcing and logistics, explain how it’s making an impact on the global supply chain, and offer a solution that can help improve collaboration and streamline the end-to-end global supply chain.

Under constant pressure to be better, faster, and cheaper, the global supply chain is facing unprecedented challenges in a world where trade wars, geopolitical issues, labor shortages, and rising transportation costs have all become the “new normal.”

In fact, these departments and the solutions that they run on don’t always “talk” to one another but instead often operate in silos—a death knell for any digitally-minded organization.

In this Making the Case report, we examine the age-old gap that exists between sourcing and logistics, explain how it’s making an impact on the global supply chain, and offer a solution that can help improve collaboration and streamline the end-to-end global supply chain.
