CEMA reports booked orders for February decreased 2.9% over 2012 orders

Shipments increased 6.9% when compared to February 2012.


The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its February 2013 booked orders decreased 2.9% when compared to February 2012 orders. February 2013 booked orders were up 12.5% when compared to January 2013 booked orders.

February booked orders were unchanged for bulk handling equipment and up 23.7% for unit handling equipment when compared to January.

CEMA’s February 2013 billed sales (shipments) increased by 6.9% when compared to February 2012 sales. February 2013 billed sales were up 4.6% when compared to January 2013 billed sales.

February billed sales were up 3.7% for bulk handling equipment and up 5.8% for unit handling equipment when compared to January.
