CEMA reports booked orders for November increased 40.1% over 2011 orders

Shipments up 18.3% compared to November 2011.


The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its November 2012 Booked Orders increased 40.1% when compared to November 2011 orders.

November 2012 booked orders when compared to October 2012 booked orders were down 0.4%. November Booked Orders were up 11.0% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 8.1% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to October.

CEMA’s November 2012 Billed Sales (shipments) increased by 18.3% when compared to November 2011 sales. November 2012 billed sales when compared to October 2012 billed sales were down 4.2%.

November Billed Sales were down 4.3% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 4.1% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to October.
