Employing 23 people, the new location provides products, service and maintenance and technician and operator training.

Crown Equipment Corporation, one of the world’s largest material handling companies, recently opened a new Crown Lift Trucks sales and service location in Sandston, Virginia, near the Richmond International Airport.

The facility, located at 510 Eastpark Court, Suite 160, provides customers with access to Crown products, expanded service and maintenance offerings, and opportunities for technician and operator training.

Kevin Miller, branch manager, Crown Lift Trucks, said, “We’ve come to know the Richmond area well as Crown has had a presence in this region for 35 years. Having a brick-and-mortar location that’s conveniently located near Interstates 64 and 95 allows us to provide our customers with unmatched material handling products and responsiveness. We’re looking forward to the potential growth this region offers and continuing our role as a customer-first material handling partner.”

Crown Lift Trucks in Sandston has 23 employees and features a comprehensive inventory of parts, a full-service maintenance department, battery and charger service, rental fleets and forklift remanufacturing. The new location also offers Crown’s Demonstrated Performance Service Training and DP TrainSafe Train-the-Trainer programs, which provide customized lessons and hands-on exercises to connect classroom instruction with real-world application.
