Daifuku announces new U.S. holding company

The Daifuku Webb Holding Company will oversee all of its U.S. subsidiaries including Jervis B. Webb Company and Daifuku America Corporation.


Daifuku Co., Ltd. announced that it has formed Daifuku Webb Holding Company to oversee all of its U.S. subsidiaries including Jervis B. Webb Company and Daifuku America Corporation. The new holding company began operating on January, 1, 2011.

Daifuku’s Managing Director Takashi Hiramoto serves as Chairman and Co-CEO of Daifuku Webb Holding Company. Brian Stewart serves as President and Co-CEO of the holding company, in addition to serving as President and Co-CEO of Jervis B. Webb Company. Nobo Morita continues to serve as President of Daifuku America Corporation, in addition to serving as a board member of Daifuku Webb Holding Company.

“We established Daifuku Webb Holding Company to improve coordination efforts among our North American businesses,” said Masaki Hojo, President and Co-CEO of Daifuku Co., Ltd. “By increasing the exchange of ideas, products and resources, we will achieve greater success and better service to our customers.”

Daifuku Webb Holding Company is headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan. In addition to the holding company, a new Daifuku Webb logo was also introduced, which will be featured on Webb and Daifuku America’s marketing materials. The logo helps further unify the two companies and capitalizes on the strength of Daifuku and the prominence of Webb in the United States.
